Kindergarten to Grade 12
Ongoing support
Learning spaces & staff development
Tuyoor Al Amal provides education from kindergarten through to Grade 12 for displaced Syrian children and young people in northern Lebanon.
Foundation support has included solar power and the refurbishment of library and computer-based learning spaces, as well as annual summer-school activities.
The relationship also includes strategic and operational advice as the organisation considers the community’s transitional return to Syria and develops staff capacity for the work ahead.
The project serves Syrian children and young people whose education has been shaped by displacement and uncertainty over many years.
Reliable learning environments, capable staff and practical planning all contribute to continuity for pupils and their families, enabling children who have never had the chance to learn, or who have been forced to drop out, to return to their studies. We are especially proud to support the cohorts of learners who have completed their schooling at Tuyoor al Amal and gone on to pursue university studies.
